1) What is the difference between companion and personal care services?

Companion services are getting help with housekeeping, laundry, errands, transportation, and reminders. Personal care services are a little more hands on including help with bathing, ambulation, incontinence, and grooming.

2) How do you screen your caregivers?

Each caregiver goes through a rigorous pre-employment screening process. Caregivers have a personal interview with the office manager, undergo skills testing and evaluation, we check employment references and criminal background, administer a drug screening, and provide company and client-specific orientation.

3) What separates your company from most other in home care agencies?

We truly are local. Because we are locally owned and operated, you get more individual attention from the branch office ensuring your service plan is fully personalized. Our branch office personnel get to know you better, so we can provide the right caregiver for you. We also do not pay corporate, regional, or franchising fees, and the savings are passed right on to you!

4) Does my insurance cover these services?

Generally, long term care insurance will pick up some costs for in home services. Veteran’s benefits or certain state programs also may provide aid. In the end it depends on the specific insurer and what programs they offer. Our branch office representatives are experts in working with insurance companies to see if your benefits qualify. 5) Where do you provide these services?

We go where you are. The client’s primary place of residence is where we send our caregivers, whether that is in a residential home, retirement community, assisted or independent living facility, or if you live with family.

6) How much do services cost?
