1) What is the difference between companion and personal care services?
Companion services are getting help with housekeeping, laundry, errands, transportation, and reminders. Personal care services are a little more hands on including help with bathing, ambulation, incontinence, and grooming.
2) How do you screen your caregivers?
Each caregiver goes through a rigorous pre-employment screening process. Caregivers have a personal interview with the office manager, undergo skills testing and evaluation, we check employment references and criminal background, administer a drug screening, and provide company and client-specific orientation.
3) What separates your company from most other in home care agencies?
We truly are local. Because we are locally owned and operated, you get more individual attention from the branch office ensuring your service plan is fully personalized. Our branch office personnel get to know you better, so we can provide the right caregiver for you. We also do not pay corporate, regional, or franchising fees, and the savings are passed right on to you!
4) Does my insurance cover these services?
Generally, long term care insurance will pick up some costs for in home services. Veteran’s benefits or certain state programs also may provide aid. In the end it depends on the specific insurer and what programs they offer. Our branch office representatives are experts in working with insurance companies to see if your benefits qualify. Call us and we will check on your benefit at no charge to you! |

Costs of services are determined on a case-by-case basis. Some factors include type of service, location, and frequency of visits. Call our branch office personnel at 503-686-9079 for further pricing inquiries.
